The World's Best Thin Books

We found a gem of a book and hope you’ll like it as much as we do. It’s The World’s Best Thin Books. Author Joni Richards Bodart (former assistant professor at Emporia State University’s School of Library and Information Management—as in, a big Woohoo!! Go Hornets!!) put this amazing volume together. Her audience is middle school and high school students who might not have jumped on the book report assignment as quickly as possible. Bodart lists books under 200 pages along with a list of characters, a synopsis, possible essay and book talk topics. Okay—definitely useful for middle school and high school students. It’s also a great book for parents, teachers, and even people who have time to read something short. And you want to know another sweet thing?
