Explore Your Options
We at the library usually like to promote happy, informative books in our blog. Sometimes, though, one comes across our desk that gives us a moment of pause. This week one such book arrived at the library: Explore Your Options: A Kansas Guide to Information and In-Home Services. The title pretty much says it all. This is one of those manuals that comes through for you in a time of stress. The first half of this thin book can help an individual or someone who cares about another to determine if outside sources are needed to help care for an adult. The second half of the book lists available resources specific for senior citizens in our six county area of the state. (Of course, if you need the listings for another section of the state, please let our staff know and we will get those for you.) Our library hosts a wonderful selection of senior care materials. Please remember that your library is here to help you find the information you need.

I was so excited to tell you about the book we had at the library, that I forgot to mention all the bibliographic information:
Kansas Department of Aging. (2006). Explore Your Options: A Guide to Information and In-home Services for Kansas Seniors. Topeka, KS: Kansas Department of Aging.
